Memories and Themes

There was a period of my life during my mid teens when I was very into rock and roll of the spiritual orscience fiction  based variety.Bands such as Hawkwind, Blue Oyster Cult, Yes,anything which referenced literature or scriptures (from any religion) .

It is through looking back now to compile this hub that I've begun to see the themes which have infused my life since childhood. A love of astronomy as a child developed into a love of astrological symbolism and astro-mythology, which then fuses into the search I've been on for years to understand my own spiritual impulses.

As a teenager I became withdrawn due to some issues related to my schooling, and this introspection developed into a process of learning to meditate using various techniques from the east.

The liking I've always had for science fiction is now developing into an interest in the latest technological gadgets and research. During the later part of my teens I studied business information technology in newcastle (the first course of its type at polytechnic level) and never really developed the interest until much later in my life when Ibecame involved in business as a director of a furniture shop belonging to a friend of mine.

This hub is a way of paying tribute to those early influences .
